  3. This is movie is so crazy. I agree with you that it doesn’t really come together, but I think Carpenter deserves a bit more credit for crafting such an odd world. I do agree about Julie Carmen, who is painfully awful. I liked the unpredictability of a lot of the mayhem, even if it doesn’t totally work on the whole.

    • There were certainly elements that were strong, specifically the scares I referenced. I just think that the script backed the film into a corner from which it couldn’t move out of. Glad to know i wasn’t judging Julie Carmen too harshly lol. Thanks for reading!
