I’m quickly going to run down who moved to the next round in Pint-Sized Cuties and European Enchantresses, while opening up round three where the winners of Pint-Sized Cuties will play against the winners of the Femme Fatale section. Voting is open now and runs through Wednesday evening. Please remember to head over to All Good Things to vote in the 1960s tournament, Mythical Monkey for the 1950s and Roz Russell for the 1930s.
No surprises here. Shirley trounced poor Margaret O’Brien, 28 to 13
In one of the most surprising competitions Peggy Ann Garner bested Ann Carter a shocking 32 votes to 9!
I had no idea Joan Leslie was so popular but she sailed past Jane Withers with a vote of 27 to 14
Teresa Wright had an easy victory against Deanna Durbin, 25 to 16
I expected Greer Garson to lose, but not by such a wide margin. Vivien Leigh took the title 31 to 10
Some said it was wrong of me to pit sisters against each other, but I did and poor Joan Fontaine lost to Olivia De Havilland, 29 to 12
Angela Lansbury was no match for Ingrid Bergman. Ingrid sailed to victory with a 30 to 11 victory
And finally, Maureen O’Hara won over Hedy Lamarr 27 to 14
Voting is now open and can be done so below or via the polls on the side:
